Pink Academy is a specialist Alternative Provision (AP) Centre based in Walkden, offering high-quality, practical education for young people who may not thrive in mainstream settings.

We work closely with schools, local authorities, and families to support students who are at risk of disengagement due to anxiety, low confidence, trauma, or behavioural challenges. Our nurturing, trauma-informed environment is designed to help each student feel safe, understood, and motivated to learn.

Support for Students with EBSA

We have extensive experience working with young people experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). Through personalised, gentle reintegration and a calm, non-pressured setting, we help students gradually rebuild trust in education, develop emotional resilience, and rediscover their love of learning.
