At Pink Academy, social value is embedded into everything we do. Our training, safeguarding systems, and community partnerships are designed to benefit not only our learners, but also their families, local schools, and the wider community. Our commitments align with Salford City Council priorities and the National Social Value TOMs Framework.

Supporting Local Young People

We deliver NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) and Alternative Provision (AP) programmes to equip young people with confidence, practical skills, accredited qualifications, and clear pathways into their future.

Creating Employability & Skills Pathways

From nails to beauty therapy, we help learners gain the technical and business skills they need to succeed in salons, launch their own businesses, or progress into higher-level qualifications.

Promoting Inclusivity & Wellbeing

We provide personalised support for students with additional needs (SEND, EBSA, dyslexia, anxiety), ensuring every learner has equal access to training in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

Giving Back to the Community

We run fundraising events, support local charities, and open our doors for school visits, enrichment activities, workshops, and Pink Parties — inspiring young people, families, and local groups.

Boosting the Local Economy

We use local suppliers wherever possible, help create jobs, and promote entrepreneurship so the economic value of our work stays within the community.

Encouraging Sustainability

We are mindful of waste, promote safe disposal of beauty products, and encourage sustainable practices throughout all training sessions.

Our Impact

Each year, Pink Academy supports young people aged 14–18 through qualifications, work-related skills, and progression into positive pathways. We continuously review our social value activities and TOMs to ensure they align with local authority priorities.
