Post-16 EHCP Referral

Thank you for considering Pink Academy for a Post-16 placement.

Pink Academy provides personalised vocational education for young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in a supportive, nurturing environment.

Please complete this referral form in as much detail as possible. The information provided will help us assess whether we can meet the young person’s needs and determine the most appropriate programme of study.

Following receipt of your referral, our team will:

• Review all documentation.

• Arrange an initial consultation and visit.

• Complete an initial assessment.

• Confirm suitability for placement.

• Work with the Local Authority regarding funding and placement arrangements.

After Submission

What Happens Next?

Once we receive your referral:

Step 1: We will acknowledge receipt within 2 working days.

Step 2: Our team will review the referral and supporting documentation.

Step 3: We will contact you if any additional information is required.

Step 4: The young person and their parent/carer will be invited to visit Pink Academy.

Step 5: We will complete an initial assessment to determine the most appropriate programme and support arrangements.

Step 6: If Pink Academy is able to meet the learner’s needs, we will work with the Local Authority to finalise funding and confirm a start date.
